An Israeli Designer Subconsciously [&consciously?] Lost

Miriam Sacks Koschirzky is an Israeli fresh graduate who designed 'Home' collection through which she explains her ongoing dilemma about the meaning of home and the emotion instigated by the concept.

Personally, I find this collection an amazing attempt to define the word home, especially that most of us know how the continuous struggle between Israel and particularly the Middle East brings to light this work.

You may have noticed the first necklace I posted in this page has European kind of roof. This Western roof is widely used to shed from snow, wind and heavy rain kind of climate. However, this type of roof is rarely used in the Middle East due to hot and arid weather. Furthermore, the miniature antennas stuck to necklace line signifies old kind of living or a developing world maybe?
