This Saturday: MCR Central Library

Foyer overlooking café, archives, media and performance spaces

My weekend is that part of  the week that is partially unplanned. On Saturdays I tend to work with whatever is thrown at me or comes to mind.. so yesterday I took myself to the refurbished Central Library that has been recently reopened on the 22nd of this month.

I was quite pleased to see what I saw. It was my first time to visit this enormous historic building and it has been a great journey to walk around the library and circulate smoothly along its curvy form. What made the experience even more interesting is that I met a Lebanese couple by coincidence of which I happily ended up sharing a lot with them!

Anyhow, the pictures really speak for themselves so I leave you to them. And for more of my experiential snaps in this building and in other other spaces, you may check my Flickr account here

Translucent vertical circulation mmm
All ears for the live talk/performance
Children are considered in all zones of the library spaces
Interactive media everywhere and it is made easy for use by all generations

HAPPY S-P-R-I-N-G-!

With love,
