I start my new academic year with enthusiasm and determination. I am happy to know that I was allocated into the studio atelier I chose as my 1st preference.
I could say that I am in a good position for this atelier because I have already took the humanities course for it in my previous academic year which had a similar agenda to this year's studio.
For a rejuvenating start, I will be reading these books stated below over this period. Some of them are related somehow to my atelier, others are related to design.
_Non-Places- An Introduction to Supermodernity by Marc Augé
_Shrinking Cities edited by Philipp Iswalt for the Kultustiftung des Bundes
_Occupying and Connecting- Thoughts on Territories and Spheres of Influence with Particular Reference to Human Settlement by Frei Otto
_Atmospheres-Architectural Spaces between Critical Reading and Immersive Presence by Ole. W. Fischer
_Design for the Real World Human Ecology and Social Change by Victor Papnek
_The Architecture of Natural Light- by Henry Plummer
