I went to check out RIBA Architruck today at Albert Square. Basically, it held posters of the nominated buildings. To be honest, I didn't need to read about them anymore because I have already made up my choice and ready to vote immediately. I picked up the iPad and ticked my choice. Later this day, RIBA had an online link for the live announcement broadcasting. I wasn't surprised that Sainsbury's Laboratory was the winner. Anyway, all shortlisted buildings were worth the prize but this is how it goes.
Oh, going out of the architruck I saw a number of people surrounding a bride and a groom. They seemed overwhelmed and definitely they were looking for someone to take a whole family picture without one missing. I saw that in their eyes and so I offered my help. Not only I took a photograph [well, photographs]of a great memory but also I was given a Tunisian desert. I didn't actually know that they were Arab because they were speaking French and English. However, I ended up saying {shokran} {mabrook} to them thank you and congratulations in Arabic. They were so kind, really, and that made my day.
