MCR BBC Studios DEMOLITION

I am convinced that historic architecture has a sense of honesty, clarity and respect. And I feel sorry to observe the demolition of a building that long stood and was a hub for news and business.

Oxford Road BBC Studio Building didn't seem to be ambitious nor unique but it was a formal building. Now, the demolition is at its final phase and I am thankful for that because I don't want to walk through the dust anymore. To be honest, I would have preferred if the money was spent on development and renovation rather on demolition.

I respect those who treasure their tradition, culture and architecture and because they admire that they will develop and update the system/building rather than destroy and clear what has once been considered clever and beautiful. (pointing at decision-makers..)

Thank you for your time,

SIMA
