Lovely Nursery School by UID

Hello there,

How adorable is this Nursery School by UID? I read the short interview between MARK and UID and couldn't stop myself from googling their firm and their projects.

When UID were asked about the peanut shaped floor plan they said:

"a circle gives a space a strong centripetal character, whereas two overlapping circles produce a more varied interior space...peanut shape makes a subtle connection with the surrounding environment."

There are, also, some other lines I appreciate:

"the childcare area is connected to a semi-outdoor space. Here they can feel the earth with their bodies and experience the natural environment as sometime stable and comfortable and sometimes more severe."

"isn't it pleasure to see little children playing in a space that incorporates an element of nature instead of in a digitized artificial environment?"
